So where do i begin... I didn't write much last year. Was an extremely busy year.
Overall the year was great but had its moments for sure like everyone one. I did get my house sold, then found a new one and bought it. Then had to purge and pack and move from a small town back into the city I was born and raised in. Had races throughout it all as well. My asthma had its usual issues but with the stress of life it wasn't happy either.
Then there was the part of getting into a new routine of the new house, getting my son settled into his new school. Plus changing everything over and finding new places to go for the usual medical stuff. Then there was the unpacking and getting the place organized... getting my gym setup again. Lots of work to do getting things done but in the end its so worth it. So as you can see super busy!
My son has settled in and things are good with him. Lots of changes ahead with his diabetes but we are still learning and trying new things out for it. Anything to make his life better. He also is a legal driver too. Hard to believe he is that old. crazy how fast time goes.
Me... I am still plugging away at training and working. Still with my amazing boyfriend too. Found a new love with the Peloton App and working out at home with it. Also am a proud Ambassador for Nuun for 2020. I am a first time ambassador for them but have been using the products for the last 6 yrs ever since I started running and racing. Absolutely love those products! So stay tuned!!
Got to travel a little bit locally and to the US. Went on lots of motorcycle rides with friends and got out on a few hikes too. just spent the time finding my routine and happiness. Worked on putting more my past away and becoming more free and happy. Spent time with my furry brother too and enjoyed those moments. Spent time with the parents too and was just trying to enjoy things more.
Felt like a badass running a race in -35 Celsius and ran some usual races.
Will be updating the website a bit more and making some changes.
Will write more in the next few weeks.
Until next time...
I am a single mom with one son that has been living with asthma since I was 2yrs old. I also almost died three times due to severe asthma attacks! I don't let my asthma stop me from accomplishing new goals and living life to the fullest.
