Week 2...

Yes I admit this week was a huge struggle. Started on Sunday and the rest of my week was slightly off. I also have felt like I was battling a bug of some sort but no major cold symptoms other then feeling warm, just icky and basically not great overall. hahaha I know I am so great with words.

I love the workouts but feel frustrated when I can't give it 100%. I do know to listen to my body too so I do the workouts but with less weight and have had to break them up as I am going at a slower pace then normal. I know my eating is off and I am not eating enough for the day either so am still playing around with that too. Will take a little time but I will get it right and when I do it will be awesome. Until then I keep pushing thru it and doing what I can.

My workout with my trainer Lisa went great Friday night like usual. She confirmed that I do need to eat more even when I don't feel like eating. So will take the up coming week and add more to eat and will get back on track. All these little steps will get me to my end goal. She just said its normal to feel this way with the amount I am training and working out alone is always a little harder and you have to deal with your brain. Now if I can get my brain and my lungs working together instead of fighting with each other I would be so happy! Lol

I do see small improvements in my body and more baby muscles emerging on my back now. My abs are slowly and I mean very slowly peaking out but even they are making small improvements too. Ok so I see a lot more improvements in just two weeks. Getting me more motivated and to keep pushing thru this.

I have been going to a chiropractor twice a week and we have been making improvements in my hips. My body has been moving so much better since I started going. I even got into a massage and had one of the best I've had in a long time. She fixed a few issues too that I have had and other massage therapists couldn't fix. I can't wait to go back. Feels amazing to be going about my training the right way and making sure all areas are covered and getting worked on. With going to Chiro and massage my workouts are more efficient and I am working so much more smarter.

I've started to register for a few races... I know I am late for doing that but I am going about them smarter this year and making sure I add in proper rest time so I don't feel so battered and broken at the end of the year like last year. This year is about playing and organizing it smarter. I also want to be able to improve my previous race times and get stronger and faster and to do that is eat, train and rest. I look back and wonder how I did it all but at the same time I have no regrets either.

Today's workout went great and feeling like a much better start to my week. Just need to eat more and I should turn things around again. Well I better finish this post up so I can get to my friend Angela's place to watch the Seahawks kick the Patriots butt!! Go Seahawks! haha

Until next time...

My new ISOBag 6 meal food management system. Love it and it helps with meal prep too with the extra containers I got with it.
