Ok now it just hit me that I've been a runner for 3 weeks now.... feeling very excited but always nervous to start a new week as that means increased distance and an increase in running and less walking.
So this week is: Walk 5min Jog 3min Walk 1min 30sec Jog 5min Walk 2min 30sec Jog 3min Walk 1min 30sec Jog 5min Walk 2min 30sec Yes it is as scary as it looks and yes my body was still screaming at me to stop and telling me I'm crazy. Our running group has now decided that we want to run our 1st 5km race on July 1st. OK now I am feeling scared but excited to be thinking of actually doing it.
