Ok so remember my doctor told me to not run for 6 weeks.... well I started back up running after being off and missing it like crazy for 3 weeks... longest 3 weeks of my life!
So I have been slowly increasing my distances to see how my tail bone does and actually running at the time it doesn't hurt... next day different story. So today I ran my furthest distance of 6.46km (4.02 miles), Pace was 6.32 per mile and it took me about 54 minutes to complete it. Not the greatest time but I did it and it's further then I have been yet. The next day I didn't hurt either that badly... so maybe running isn't over for me and maybe I can run my 10km but later in September now.
I am a single mom with one son that has been living with asthma since I was 2yrs old. I also almost died three times due to severe asthma attacks! I don't let my asthma stop me from accomplishing new goals and living life to the fullest.
