Where did March go?? No like seriously... it went by so stinking fast. It feels just like yesterday that we just got back from California. OK I am wishing I was still there but regardless where did it really go?! Now I have a major itch to get to Las Vegas in for the 18th to race my first ever Spartan Race again. I am having serious Spartan race withdrawals. I wish I could make it work but sadly I can't. *insert big sad pouty face here* I am so curious to see how much better I do it this time after all the races and training I have done and am currently doing now. I keep telling myself there is always next year right... still doesn't make me feel better.
I have been busy enjoying life and getting out and having fun on weekends. Went Skiing at Lake Louise the end of March and man I was so slow. lol I am not the skier I once was. I haven't skied there in 19yrs and the last time I was there I wrecked my knee badly and had to have major rehab on it. So I had that in the back of my mind. Not sure why I was so nervous. I mean I do Spartan races that are a lot harder and this is well so much easier. I don't know but my head was messing with me again. Regardless I had a great time with Dave and I feel bad for holding him up since he is a really good skier. I did really like sitting in the Banff Hot Springs for a few hours while people watching. Was nice to sit and relax.
This past weekend was so much fun as well. Started with my son Ty getting to come workout with me with my trainer Lisa. He had so much fun learning new skills to help improve his soccer and school sports he participates in. He also came home with a 20kg power log bag to to train with. I wasn't going to buy it for him if he didn't try it out first. I am so glad he has found the love of working out and keeping active. Then we took off to my friend Colin's place in BC for some fun in the mud. We went to Koocanusa Mud Bogs to tear it up and play in the mud. Was a great time watching others get stuck. Was a super fun weekend visiting friends!!
I am back to studying again to finish Part 2 of my PTS exam and I have booked my CPR course for the end of this month as well. My friend Jacqui is going to be my test subject and I will start working with her at my house shortly. I am on a new workout 4 week session now and with the new stuff the first week is always the hardest.

Can you believe I have been writing this blog for three years this month!! Wow has time flown by and things sure have changed with me over those years as well. Its funny to look back and see how and what I wrote about before but also to see what I have done all those years. I sure have come a long way and there is plenty more for me to try. I am comfortable in my skin finally, happy with my life now and over all enjoying and experiencing what ever comes my way. Gotta live your life and have fun along the way. It's all about enjoying the experiences then the material things in life. I want my son to start to appreciate those then be so stuck on the material possessions he has.
Other things are going on in my life but at the moment they are not to important to talk about at this time like the trials and tribulations of dating. Just hopeful for the future but not in any hurry either. Enjoying the self discovery of myself!
Until Next time...
