So here I am again with lots to report.... my running has been going great body-wise and my knee is getting stronger and I am having less pain. With working out I've noticed my running is getting easier which is great and my lungs are getting stronger. Whoever said weight lifting isn't cardio hasn't been doing it properly.
Mentally wise I am trying to overcome some obstacles with weight training... my brain gets hung up on telling me I can't or your going to hurt yourself or you can't jump that high... but I keep pushing and one day I will get there. I am stubborn that way.
Last weekend and this weekend was able to get out on some long walks with my son and 2 dogs... today we ended up going 8km and picking up our awesome neighbor and her kids along the way! Out here in the the country our neighbors are close but not too close. Lungs did great with the coolish air. We have been lucky out here our snow is basically gone and have been having warm temps... can feel spring is coming!
I am a single mom with one son that has been living with asthma since I was 2yrs old. I also almost died three times due to severe asthma attacks! I don't let my asthma stop me from accomplishing new goals and living life to the fullest.
